When his brother was born, his proud Aunt, to be affectionately called Zia when he learns to speak, knit a beautiful hat from hand spun yarn. Unfortunately, his Mom missed the hand wash warning and felted it into a nice coaster. With needles in hand, Zia reknit the little hat in a Superwash wool called Saphira… assuring Evan that he will always have a beautiful hand knit hand made especially for him from his loving Zia.

This family grouping includes a summery T-Top for Mother and Daughter, as well as a matching one for an 18” doll. A delicate openwork pattern, worked in small panels, is the highlight of each garment. Mom’s top has set-in sleeves, while those for daughter are modified, and dolly’s are drop style. All garments have a rounded neckline, and edges are trimmed in reverse single crochet.
