SWTC Terra yarn combines a summer weight cotton with bamboo rayon, resulting in a designer top with beautiful drape and a hint of sheen. Cables travel through the center of Feather and Fan panels from the scalloped hem to the ribbed midriff, making this shell a dress up or casual addition to your wardrobe. Looks great with jeans or shimmering evening pants. The ribbing cinches in the top under the bust and produces an aesthetically pleasing division between the lower design and the upper portion of the top. An ascending center front cable panel continues through the ribbed portion and splits at the beginning of the V-neck, framing the neckline.

Using SWTC Masere makes this project really budget friendly. The design is by Vladmira Cmorej and the pattern is extremely well written and easy to follow. Shes awesome. You will need 2 skeins of Masere to make Arabella for yourself.

MATERIALS

This heirloom shawl is worked back and forth from the top down in a eyelet and cable pattern on a garter stitch ground. Its horseshoe shape will stay put on your shoulders. The pattern is divided into sections to guide you through as shawl stitches are added and additional pattern stitches are incorporated. After working the top of the shawl, a long, deep border in art-deco-inspired lace finishes the project.
